The Georgia-Vanderbilt basketball game is on tonight at Stegeman Coliseum. How many fans can get there remains to be seen.

The Commodores flew into Atlanta from Nashville yesterday but quickly deduced they wouldn’t be able to bus to Athens. So the team flew to Greenville, S.C., last night and the plan is to make the hour’s drive southwest to Athens later this afternoon. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

“The game is definitely on,” UGA spokesperson Claude Felton said late Wednesday morning.

Here’s A LINK to my story advancing tonight’s game between the Bulldogs (10-8, 4-2) and the Commodores (10-8, 2-4).
