Jacob Park adjusting to college life at UGA

By Chip Towers

Here’s some video from Georgia quarterback Jacob Park, the only early enrollee in the Bulldogs’ 2014 signing class. He comes from Stratford High School in Goose Creek, S.C., but originally hails from Watkins Glen, N.Y.

Have to say, I hope Park, Ramsey or Bauta pans out..  I was very disappointed in the short arm throws and total lack or arm strength Hudson Mason shown in the Gator Bowl..  If neither of the three do not show better,  we are in for a long season.

Am very excited to see the new O-line. I believe if their talent is brought out, we'll be the Beast in the East..

Go Dawgs!

2014 is all Hutson Mason. If one of these other QB's were the second coming of Joe Namath, It'll be Husdon Mason. The promise and cast has been set. Barring injury, Hudson will take the Dawgs as far as he can. He should have some weapons to help him.

I think in 2015 Jacob Park will lead us to an east crown. Park is mobile and has a strong arm...he really needs to get on the play book.....and try to stay healthy....he is our future.

Jacob has got to learn that the fans understand if he has to throw the ball away when nobody is open, the Offensive Line blocking breaks down and the Defense is pressuring him. In the Army All Star game Jacobs was frustrated because his Offensive Line was not very good and he had pressure every play. He made some terrible decisions throwing the ball.

Mark Richt hates turnovers because the Quarterback tries to force the ball where you have a very high risk of an interceptions. As Murray found out in a lot of close matches , the team the makes the most mistakes usually loses. The Quarterback that shows the most intelligence when under pressure is going to be Georgia's next Quarterback. I haven't seen Bauta so I don't know his arm strength  . But I do know that Park and Ramsey have very good arm strength so the one that makes the least number of mistakes will be our future Quarterback.

These two have an advantage over Mason because of arm strength but Mason will be the QB if nobody else can prove he can read a Defense , make changes at the line  and make good decisions which many time is just to thrown the ball into the stands.

@96JB

Unless Georgia is going to run the ball 50 times a game Mason better show better arm strength than he showed in the last three games of 2013.

Brice Ramsey might have something to say about that.
