Update: Dogs’ TE Jay Rome hobbled during Sunday’s practice

ATHENS – A quick update from Sunday’s practice, Georgia’s third of the preseason:

Don’t read too much into it at this stage, but tight end Jay Rome had to come out of drills and get some attention from trainers due to his troublesome right foot. The junior from Valdosta had off-season foot surgery and actually had been somewhat of a surprise going nearly full tilt in the Bulldogs’ first two practices

ATHENS – I’ll be filing a detailed report later today that you’ll be able to read on MyAJC.com about Georgia’s off-season disciplinary issues and the Bulldogs’ reactions to them.
