1. I had a chance to talk to ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit this morning, which I always enjoy.

I first met “Herbie” in December of 1992 when I interviewed him as the Ohio State quarterback in the days leading up to the Buckeyes’ matchup against Georgia in the 1993 Citrus Bowl. We laughed about that Tuesday morning and his memory of that Bulldogs’ team — and that 21-14 Georgia victory — remains incredibly vivid.
