Tom Osborne among many notables to call Richt on Ekeler’s behalf

I ran across an interesting link on Twitter from the Lincoln Journal Star newspaper in Nebraska. It had reprinted on the Nebraska Conrhusker-dedicated blog, “Life in the Red,” a letter Mike Ekeler had sent folks up there who had a hand in him recently landing his job as a linebackers coach at Georgia.

Mike Ekeler doesn’t expect to hear back from Georgia until after national signing day. He can only hope it’s good news when he does.

Ekeler’s name has been bandied about a lot publicly with regard to the Bulldogs’ fourth and final defensive assistant’s position. But he has no idea whether he’s a favorie or a longshot to fill the spot.
